OpenDeck DJ (iOS / iPadOS)

Effective September 2026

Short version: OpenDeck DJ collects nothing about you. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. The only network access it uses is your local Wi-Fi/LAN, solely to sync with Pioneer CDJ/XDJ players over Pro DJ Link — and none of that leaves your network.

Data we collect

None. OpenDeck DJ does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account or sign-in, no analytics or usage tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that gather information.

Local network access

The app requests access to your local network for one purpose: to discover and synchronize with Pioneer CDJ/XDJ players on your Wi-Fi or wired LAN using the Pro DJ Link protocol. This communication:

Stays entirely on your local network
Is never sent to us or to any external server
Carries no information that identifies you

If you never use the sync feature, no network communication takes place.

Your audio

Audio files you load are read on your device for playback and beat analysis only. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and no information about your music is transmitted off the device.

Children's privacy

OpenDeck DJ does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
